• Conducting independent research to improve the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of heart, lung, and blood diseases;

• Promoting awareness of these diseases and the need for research to the public at large;

• Providing life-saving information about the most innovative treatments for these diseases to patients and their families; and

• Connecting patients and their families with expert physicians.

PHLBI has been designated as an IRS 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. All donations are tax-deductible.
