Third Annual Ottavio Belvedere Charity Dinner
On Monday, November 1, 2010, join the Belvedere Family, PHLBI, and the mesothelioma community for an evening of authentic Italian food at Ottavio's Ristorante Italiano in Camarillo, California. This year’s dinner falls on the third anniversary of Ottavio’s passing and the third time the Belvedere family has arranged a fundraiser for PHLBI in support of mesothelioma research and in honor of Ottavio, a pillar of the Camarillo community,.
This year, the Belvederes are also honoring the life of Gene Lepore, another long-time Camarillo resident, who died earlier this year following his own battle with mesothelioma.

2010 Tour Des Chutes Cancer Bike Ride
The 6th annual Tour Des Chutes Cancer Bike Ride took place on Saturday July 17, 2010 in Bend, Oregon.
The Punch Worthington Laboratory was proud to once again sponsor the Tour Des Chutes. The Punch Worthington Laboratory, located at UCLA, is the home of novel research into cures for asbestos cancer under the direction Dr. Robert Cameron of the Pacific Heart, Lung & Blood Institute. The lab is dedicated to David "Punch" Worthington, a union sandblaster, genetics professor and beloved father and grand-father who lost his lengthy battle with asbestos cancer in 2006. First Annual Ottavio Belvedere Charity Dinner
On November 3, 2008 the family of Ottavio Belvedere generously donated proceeds from every meal sold at their family restaurant, Ottavio’s, to the Pacific Heart, Lung & Blood Institute. In addition, generous donations were collected from the majority of restaurant patrons and staff. All of the proceeds from the meal service went to the Punch Worthington Laboratory at UCLA and was earmarked for Dr. Cameron's mesothelioma research. Click here for more.
